Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive outstanding service while managing various clerical tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries, and providing information about services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athena and Epic to update patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or a similar role is required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Athena and Epic is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
