What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - DAPT, School of Business position at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)?
The Master of Decision Analytics Professional Track in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of applicants for the 2022-2023 academic year for possible adjunct teaching positions. The Master of Decision Analytics Professional Track is a cohort-based, accelerated master’s program for working professionals. The qualified candidate will teach courses in R, Python, and Data Mining, with the possibility of other topics as needed.
Should funding for such adjunct teaching positions become available, the Department will contact persons in the pool whose credentials match our teaching needs. This pool will be accessed only when an opening arises. This posting will remain active until June 30, 2023. After June 30, 2023, you will need to reapply to the updated posting if you would like to remain in the adjunct pool.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach courses in Decision Analytics as needed. These classes could be inclusive of all areas within the discipline.
Required Qualifications:
-A M.S. degree or higher to teach graduate level courses.
-Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience is particularly welcome.
