Mission or Goal of Unit: Children’s
Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and the Division of Pediatric Cardiology is a
model for patient and family care that focuses on teamwork, collaboration and
dedication in clinical care, teaching, mentoring and research. Chief Purpose of this position: VCU
Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital joined together in July 2010,
forming the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Together, we are a full-service Children’s
Hospital that offers a robust continuum of pediatric services, research, and
education. The Children’s Hospital of
Richmond and the School of Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University are
committed to the continued growth of the Pediatric Cardiology Division. This growth has led to the need for another
cardiologist with training in non-invasive imaging. This individual will focus on growing our
robust fetal heart center as well as increasing clinical need for
