Position Responsibilities:
The Department of General Practice, Division of
Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry seeks applicants for a postdoctoral
research fellow. The fellow will report to and work closely with Dr. Sandra
Al-Tarwaneh. The postdoctoral fellow will dedicate their time in collaborative
research projects, project coordination, recruitment, collection and analysis
of data, help in writing papers, teaching both DDS students and graduate
students, and patient care with focus on effort to document patient care. There
will be significant opportunities to gain experience in research design,
conducting health services research, and utilizing complex large data sets.
This fellowship is a one year, renewable for a second year based on progress
and performance, full-time position.
Required Qualifications:
- D.D.S.
- Experience in Prosthodontics
- An advanced understanding of the digital environment is required
- Proficiency in 3D and dental software (CEREC CAD/CAM, InLab, Primescan, Exocad Dental CAD, Partial CAD, Smile Creator, Exoplan, Implant Planner, Implant Studio, Dental System, convince 3Shape, Realguide, Medit, Meshmixer, Blender, Chitubox, BlueskyBio) is essential, as data will be gathered from various software platforms
- A moderate understanding of Python scripting is necessary
- Attention to detail in experimental techniques and record-keeping is critical
- Strong organizational skills are required
- Teaching experience and skills are required

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience and ability to work independently
