Position Responsibilities:
The Xuewei Wang Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth
University (VCU) is seeking skilled and motivated candidates for two postdoctoral
positions. These positions are based in Richmond, VA. The successful candidates will
engage in cutting-edge research focused on the development of optical and
electrochemical sensors for medical diagnostics.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated research experience in at least one of the following areas: fluorescence
spectroscopy, electroanalytical chemistry, fundamental electrochemistry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team from culturally diverse backgrounds.
