Dr. Thomson, Director of Research at the Injury and Violence
Prevention Program (IVPP) at VCU, is accepting applications for one
research-focused post-doctoral fellowship. The candidate will be involved
in ongoing research activities on the topics of violence prevention and
developmental psychopathology (a focus on personality and externalizing
disorders). The candidate should have a strong interest in pursuing independent
research within these areas or closely related. For more information about IVPP

Typical Duties
The candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day
research and scholarly activities. This will include manuscript and grant
preparation, as well as participant recruitment, conducting baseline and
follow-up assessments, data entry, database development, analyzing data,
literature reviews, IRB protocol compliance and maintenance, and disseminating
research at local and national conferences.
