What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Lab/Research Technician_part-time position at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)?
Position Responsibilities:
The hourly employee will perform sol-gel synthesis of aerogel materials, with particular emphasis on phenolic chemistry.
The employee is also expected to maintain existing equipment (vacuum pumps, pressure lines, pressure regulators) used for the drying of the aerogels.
Required Qualifications:
MS. in Chemistry or related discipline
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States
Salary Range: 12.00 - 20.00
