What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer/Finisher position at Virginia Construction Group?
Virginia Civil Concrete, a division of The Virginia Construction group is seeking experienced concrete finishers. We offer competitive pay as well as medical, dental, vision, holidays, vacation, and 401K to eligible full-time employees.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to take directions and complete tasks.
- Experience forming and pouring concrete barrier wall, curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, flat work, pervious concrete paving, retaining walls, buildings, stone and brick work.
- Ability to set string line to grade for setting concrete forms, retaining walls.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read tape measure / plans
- Knowledge of power tools / hand tools
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies and procedures.
