Richard Bland College (RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly ranked colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region-and its rural setting featuring 750 acres of wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state's oldest and largest pecan grove.
RBC is currently seeking a full-time Enrollment Support Specialist. The Enrollment Support Specialist plays a critical role in the enrollment and admissions process at Richard Bland College, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and current students. Serving as a primary liaison between students, staff, and the institution, this position requires expertise in data management, CRM administration, document processing, and collaborative engagement across departments.
The purpose of this role is multi-faceted, blending exceptional customer service, precise data management, and timely transcript processing. Additionally, the role includes supporting the administration of Element451, the college's CRM platform, to streamline communications and workflows that enhance recruitment and enrollment efforts. In the fast-paced environment of higher education, the Enrollment Support Specialist is a dependable and detail-oriented team member who ensures an efficient and welcoming enrollment experience. They oversee critical processes, including the timely processing of student applications, routing of transcripts, and data synchronization between systems, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
With a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, the Enrollment Support Specialist is instrumental in advancing the college's enrollment goals. In addition to providing administrative support, the Enrollment Services Specialist is also responsible for managing the operational / logistics of the admissions process. This includes processing applications, tracking transcripts and test scores, and communicating with applicants regarding the status of their applications. They may also be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of interviews and other admissions-related activities. To be successful in this role, the Enrollment Services Specialist should have excellent organizational and time management skills. They must juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and have strong attention to detail. Additionally, they should be proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office and have experience with database management and record keeping.
Excellent communication skills are also critical for success in this role. Minimum Qualifications
- Considerable, relevant experience in customer service, administrative support, or in a data management role

- Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with diverse stakeholders including customers, team members, and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
