Job Duties
To support the special and daily operations of Headquarters, District 1 Probation and Parole, as well as HQ annex locations.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building's functionality, security, safety and ensuring the physical infrastructure is maintained, operations run smoothly, and a safe working environment is provided for occupants by managing maintenance tasks, coordinating with contractors, and adhering to safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in supervising maintenance staff to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general trades. Ability to make sound judgements while knowing when to seek guidance from management. Demonstrated ability to analyze, counsel, recommend solutions across a variety of disciplines. Demonstrated ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Knowledge of budgetary controls and the principles and practices of management. Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, building construction, and building security.
Additional Considerations
Experience working in a correctional setting. Demonstrated ability to manage complex maintenance and construction projects. Extensive knowledge of project management techniques. Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications for maintenance or construction projects.
