Job Duties
A. Serves food according to facility standards.
- Follows infection control procedures (hand washing, hair net and gloves).
- Reads menu and selects proper portion control tool on cafeteria serving line.
- Working knowledge of patient diet restrictions.
- Pleasant social interactions with all customers.
B. Cleans and sanitizes food service areas.
C. Busses and washes dishes.
D. Performs simple food preparation duties.
E. Diet Kitchen extra duties.
F. Continuing Education.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
Basic knowledge of food service application : line serving, portion control, simple food production, and sanitation duties.
Ability to work with supervision.
Additional Considerations
Experience in hospital setting preferred.
