The Department of English and Foreign Languages requests consideration for posting and filling a FT faculty member position on a temporary basis, for one year, to begin in August 2024 and to conclude in May of 2025.
Requirements :
- This position will serve a large student population at Norfolk State University, and encompasses the teaching of General Education courses and discipline-specific courses that are supportable by faculty credentials.
- The role requires office hours and engaging students for campus assessment activities such as the HEIGHTEN Test and QEP.
- Use of Blackboard, the Learning Management System for Norfolk State University, is required.
- This position will also require one submission, between Fall and Spring semesters, of a small portfolio of supporting documents about classroom content and techniques.
