Job Duties
Provides food processing services from the kosher production plant to a Major institution in accordance with state, federal and DOC policies and procedures. Processes and contributes finished product to other facilities in the region. Trains and supervises inmate labor in the operation of the Food / Kosher Processing Plant and auxiliary equipment of an adult institution. Provides a safe and secure work environment. Supervises the preparation and distribution on processing products with the region.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Knowledge beverage plant operation and their auxiliary equipment. Ability to supervise others. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and moving / motorized farm equipment. Must use a computer and operate both hand and power tools. Must have good manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination.
Additional Considerations
Work experience in the overall operation of a food processing plant and auxiliary equipment. Certified Driver's License. Basic knowledge of computers and computer software i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
