Job Duties
Direct and supervise the operations of the Registrar's Unit to ensure that training records for all DOC employees are documented and maintained. This position manages the automated registration system and overseas training program scheduling at all Academy campuses based on customer needs and occupancy guidelines. This position ethically leads the Registrar Unit team, providing guidance and coaching to enhance training record maintenance for target audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working with Virginia Learning Center or state associated knowledge center program. Knowledge and experience working with the Library of Virginia records retention program. Knowledge of developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive databases. Advanced experience with productivity software and agency communication systems. Knowledge of database management. Ability to prioritize and perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, work independently, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to document management.
Additional Considerations
Progressive experience in leading others in complex organizations. Experience managing and documenting employee records. Knowledge of correctional and / or criminal justice record keeping practices and regulations
