Position Summary:
We’re looking for a creative, driven college student to support our marketing team by bringing our social media calendar to life. As our Social Media Intern, you’ll help shape how we connect with local communities online by creating engaging social content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn that reflects our brand voice and values.
Social Media Intern critical responsibilities:
- Create 12–15 social media posts per week using Canva, aligned to our pre-planned social media calendar and creative graphics and templates
- Write engaging, brand-aligned social copy for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Ensure all content reflects our brand guidelines, tone, and voice
- Source local photos, customer testimonials, and fiber facts to help support community storytelling
- Collaborate with the marketing team to adjust content based on campaign needs or local events
- Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for reels, stories, and community engagement content
- Track post-performance metrics weekly to identify top-performing content and opportunities for improvement
