RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This position will be responsible for the performance of Kinetic, Humphrey, and Goldmann Visual Fields, as ordered by the eye care provider.
- Must have the ability to work well with patients requiring specific direction and lots of encouragement.
- Must have the ability to read a schedule and know how to manage late arrivals / fitting in add-on fields if necessary.
- Have the ability to obtain images for physician presentations as necessary.
- Coordinate the maintenance of visual field equipment and supplies necessary to ensure maximum utilization of schedules and equipment.
- Enter information / results into the patient’s electronic medical record. Follow government guidelines for medical record entry and coding.
- Maintain the physical environment of the exam and procedure rooms by cleaning and stocking daily and maintaining medications as needed.
- Clean, cover, and store equipment and instruments at the end of the day.
- Work with non-visual field associates to train / educate on the visual fields requirements and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
