Essential Functions
- Physically inspect, analyze and evaluate property for value, condition and exposure purposes.
- Underwrite, renew, rate various lines of business (varies by state).
- Participate in various daily inspections, roof inspections, special projects inspection programs.
- Frequently accompany Agents on insured appointments to assist in evaluating and identifying exposures.
- Assume duties as Roving Field Underwriter to assist with daily and overflow inspection workload.
- Learn duties and responsibilities of Field Underwriter through on-the-job training in office and in the field.
- Depict findings in photography and complete reports of discovery from inspections.
- Become well acquainted with underwriting manual.
