What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Claims Representative Supervisor position at Virginia Farm Bureau?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Supervise the activities of Office Claim Representatives. Ensure prompt and efficient processing of all auto material damage claims assigned to OCRs in accordance with the state regulations, company procedures and policies. This includes training, reviewing, adjusting and payment of claims. Promote an atmosphere of excellent customer service. Review and manage workload. Work with business partners and other claims department personnel to consistently implement process improvements.
LOCATION
West Creek Office (Goochland County, VA - Richmond, VA)
This position is based out of our beautiful West Creek Office location.
POSITION
Full time (37.50 hours per week) - Salaried, exempt position with benefits
Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Provide support, be available and answer questions for representatives.
- Handle elevated claim issues.
- Implement and maintain office procedures for all claims handled in the unit.
- Conduct monthly audits and submit results to the Director of Claims Administration.
- Track average paid loss, claim cycle times and customer service results.
- Effectively manage workload.
- Personnel management : hire, train, review performance and develop employee action plans for succession.
- Respond to agents, counties, and other claims department personnel on service issues.
