Position Overview :
The Office of Faculty Recruitment supports the Administrative Core of the VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer by leading initiatives to promote the hiring and retention of outstanding and diverse faculty members.
The Faculty Recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment of physician and research scientists, who have academic appointments in VCU Medical Schools, and will report to the Director of Faculty Recruitment. The incumbent will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of all activities related to recruitment, will advise and collaborate with senior leadership and program leads within Massey, VCU, and other schools as needed with regard to physician / research recruitment, budgetary compliance, diversity, and overall recruitment strategies. The recruiter will serve as primary interface with outside individuals, prospective candidates and their families, recruiting firms and other agencies on behalf of the University.
The Faculty Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the seamless coordination of virtual and / or on-campus interview / visits, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for prospective recruits.
