New River Community College is a two-year state institution of higher education operating under a state-wide system of 23 community colleges. The college is in Virginia's New River Valley, which is also home to two public universities, and which has earned widespread recognition for the quality of life offered to residents. The Dublin campus and Christiansburg site provide modern, well-equipped facilities for the college's career and technical education programs as well as for the college transfer programs. Duties :
Work with the Web Services team to complete web requests. Complete request tickets in a timely manner. Complete manager-assigned projects. Create and / or update pages as needed. Maintain accessibility and update older content to achieve accessibility.
Minimum Qualifications :
Training and / or related work experience in Web Design / Development. Experience developing and updating pages for content and styling. Knowledge and experience in HTML5 and CSS3. Ability to work independently and to interact well with non-information technology personnel. Graduation from high school or GED.
Additional Considerations :
Knowledge and experience in Java Script and PHP. Graphic design experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar software. Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in related fields.
