Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager the Laboratory Supervisor provides first line supervision over the technical and operational staff in a defined laboratory area.
- Provides personnel and staffing oversight for a limited area of the lab.
- Supervises staff technical and professional performance.
- Maintains a positive and professional work environment.
- Investigates documents and resolves problems and complaints.
- Provides backup support for Department Manager.
- Performs laboratory test procedures.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range : $77,937.60 - $124,696.00 Annual

Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Histotechnologist / Histotechnician
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending / stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion : computer use. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift / push / pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, noise, radiation (in limited specific areas), blood / body fluids and infectious disease.
