Job Summary / Basic Functions
The Power Plant Mechanic performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to steam boilers and Power Plant auxiliaries. The mechanic is able to operate steam boilers on shift and keep accurate logs on all equipment.
Required Experience :
Knowledge of basic maintenance principals along with troubleshooting skills.
Additional Considerations :
Knowledge of boilers / associated equipment, operations and procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records, performs a variety of repairs and preventative maintenance.
Experience with a mechanical trade as tradesman or helper.
