Job Duties
Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a Programmer Analyst for a position with its IT Services Division in Richmond, Virginia.
This is a technical position that is responsible for the technical and functional development of automated systems, from users request through business objective statement, business process definition, data model, requirements definition, system construction, test, installation and post-implementation review. The incumbent in this position will be involved in interaction with users, ITS management, technical staff, including DMV employees, contractors and outside customers. Additionally, the incumbent may lead moderately complex projects and / or serve as a team member on projects.
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, serves approximately 6.2 million licensed drivers and ID card holders with over 8.4 million registered vehicles. Minimum Qualifications
- Mainframe experience and background, programming languages and databases.
- Software AG product set expertise and solid experience (ADABAS, NATURAL etc.).
- Solid background and experience developing in IBM MF environment using COMPLETE, ISPF, TSO, TN3270 etc.
- Good understanding of batch processing and IBM JCL.
- DMV IT Systems experience.
