Job Description
The Route Delivery Specialist position at Virginia Linen Service, Inc. requires flexibility to perform various tasks. Some days you will work in our warehouse ensuring high-quality linens, while other days you will be on a route driving one of our custom box trucks and interacting with valued clients.
- Loading and unloading goods in the warehouse
- Picking up and delivering textile and disposable products to customers on an established route
- Frequent interaction with customers, selling products with commission opportunities
- Labor-intensive tasks requiring loading, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs
Responsibilities
This role involves frequent customer interactions, sales opportunities, and working in varying weather conditions. Additionally, it requires reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering products.
- Must have flexibility in hours
- Prior route delivery experience within a service industry is helpful but not necessary
- Clean driving record required
- Passing background checks and drug tests are mandatory
