What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist, part time (on call) evenings position at Virginia Lutheran Homes/Brandon Oaks?
Brandon Oaks is currently taking applications for an on-call Receptionist on a part time basis.
This position serves as an on-call receptionist when employees are on vacation, sick or holidays. Must be available to work evenings (4pm-9pm) during the week and weekends (2 : 30pm-9pm).
Answer phone and transfer calls to proper individuals. Monitor fire alarm system and report to security. Provide good customer service to residents, resident's family members, guests and visitors. Make overnight reservations for guests. Performs other duties as assigned to meet the overall needs of the facility.
Looking for a candidate that is compassionate and friendly, able to work well with and communicate with others.
Previous experience working with seniors and knowledge of HIPAA is a plus.
Background / Drug tests, seasonal flu vaccine required.
