What you will do in this role:
- Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
- Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
- Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Participates in providing nursing care, assesses patient needs, ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately
- Maintains patient health care records.
- Maintains supply inventory records; order supplies and equipment, as necessary.
- Promotes adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
- Two years of nursing experience in a hospital.
- 1 to 2 years supervisory/leadership experience.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred
- CRRN Preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Salary range: $37 - $60 per hour plus Charge Nurse supplement when in Charge Nurse role. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.
