We require:
- Graduation from a hospital-based or college-based radiology program.
- Washington State Certification for Radiologic Technologist and a certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT) as well as current registration with ARRT.
- Current certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology or successful completion of certification within one year of hire; and current CPR validation.
- Completion of 24 Category "A" continuing education (CE) within a two year period is also required.
- Critical thinking skills; quality assurance assessment skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work with highly technical equipment; extensive product knowledge; a thorough understanding of sterile technique.
- Ability to achieve hemostasis following the removal of arterial/venous catheters.
- One year of experience in Interventional Radiology and/or a minimum two years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology. Preference will be given to applicants who hold national certification in any advanced Radiological modality.
