Certification Details BLS Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Washington state RT license Job Details CT Tech position at Virginia Mason Medical Center Department : Computed Tomography (CT) Must provide radiation badge Experience with GE CT scanners required Common types of imaging include pelvis colonography, coronary scans, TAVR planning, chest, abdomen, pelvis Average of scans / studies per day : 20 per tech in Seattle EMR & / or PACS in use : GE Centricity, Philips PACS, Cerner EMR Department runs 24 / 7 with various shifts Job Requirements BLS certification required Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification Washington state RT license required Experience with GE CT scanners Schedule Information Set shifts vary based on need and contract Days : 8 hours M-F 0630-3p, 0800-4 : 30p, 10a-6 : 30p, 3p-11 : 30p 12 hour day shifts : 8a-8 : 30p or 7a-7 : 30p depending on day of week Nights : 12 hours 7p-7a or 4-10s 9p-7a Weekend requirements depend on shift, CT runs 24 / 7 Holiday requirements depend on shift, staff rotate through No call for traveler, may ask if there is a need Additional Details Department specific orientation on the first day with modules Working with someone the first week to ensure safety Scrub color / dress code : navy or gray or mix
