Job Details
Interventional Radiology (IR Tech) position at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Requires providing a traveler's Radiation Badge.
Experience in neuro IR, vascular, and neuro surgeries is essential.
Job Requirements
BLS certification required.
ARRT (R) certification required.
Washington state license required.
IV certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience required, with preference for travel experience and stroke receiving facility experience.
Schedule Information
4-10 hour shifts with rotating days off.
Shifts start at 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM or 7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM.
1-2 weeknight call days per week, with a call schedule that allows staff to choose their call days.
1 weekend call per month required.
Unit Specific Information
Department has 2 IR techs per room and utilizes Cerner EMR, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS.
Radiologist in-house during the day and on call at night.
Additional Details
Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able to re-add that back in.
Scrubs are provided for the position.
Department specific orientation includes modules on education, safety, infection control, etc.
