  • BLS certification required
  • Must have WA State license at time of submittal
  • Graduate of an accredited school
  • CST national certification not required, but must be registered with Washington State

    • Schedule Information

  • 4-10 hour shifts, variable days and start times Mon-Friday
  • Start times : 0630, 0900, or 1100
  • No self-scheduling; consistent start time for the same week
  • Weeknight call : 1 call total per 4 week schedule, begins at end of shift until 7am next morning
  • Weekend call : 24 hours (7am to 7am), rotated between staff and travelers
  • Call response time : 30 minutes

  • Unit : OR Tech
  • of Suites : 22, capability to go to 26 on 3 different floors
  • Unit / Department specific orientation : 2 days with a surgical tech

    • Additional Details

  • Traveler must bring their own earphones for online training during the first week of orientation
  • Scrub color / dress code : Teal, scrubs provided
  • Physicians and team are very helpful and willing to teach
  • Travelers tend to extend as long as they can
