- Please take this quick survey once you've submitted your resume to complete the application process : Medical Assistant PI SurveyResponsibilities : Obtains all necessary patient records as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures.Assist in preparing and filing all internal and external correspondence and medical reports into patient medical record according to filing system.Coordinate with lab to confirm ordering and processing of needed patient labs; obtain results accordingly.Communicate with care team to coordinate patient appointments with availability of pending results.Other administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 3 years office experience preferred, preferably in a medical office setting.Previous experience in a medical records department strongly preferred.Must be willing to travel to other offices as needed.
