- Obtains all necessary patient records as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures.
- Assist in preparing and filing all internal and external correspondence and medical reports into patient medical record according to filing system.
- Coordinate with lab to confirm ordering and processing of needed patient labs; obtain results accordingly.
- Communicate with care team to coordinate patient appointments with availability of pending results.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years office experience preferred, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Previous experience in a medical records department strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to travel to other offices as needed.
