Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
Current licensure as a registered nurse in Virginia. ADN required. A minimum of two years’ full-time work experience in the field.
Effective written and oral communication skills; Excellent organizational skills; Flexibility and ability to prioritize and work independently; Critical thinking and clinical judgement skills.
Additional Considerations
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Nursing from an accredited institution.
