Lead Tourism Counselor
(Full-Time)
Virginia Tourism Corporation is seeking a Lead Tourism Counselor for its Virginia Welcome Center.
This individual will provide travel information and assistance to the traveling public, restock brochure racks, assist with daily operations and perform general office duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently in a customer service environment
- Lift up to 40 pounds, including extensive walking and standing
- Provide excellent customer service
- Interact with the public
- Basic math and computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Requirements:
- Holiday and weekend work is required
- Knowledge of Virginia's travel product and roads preferred
- Travel industry experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
