As we continue to expand, we are seeking an IT Director to lead our technology infrastructure, software applications, data management, and cybersecurity strategy to ensure seamless operations across our business.
Position Overview
The IT Director will be responsible for strategic oversight, implementation, and management of the company’s technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, data governance, and cybersecurity compliance. This role will collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals, ensuring operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation.
This position is based in Roanoke, VA, and relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the management and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and cloud environments.
- Ensure high system uptime, performance, and security across all locations.
- Supervise help desk and IT support teams, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Manage IT asset procurement, upgrades, and vendor relationships.
Software Development & Applications Management
- Oversee enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, and custom software solutions).
- Ensure seamless integration and optimization of business software.
- Work with internal teams to identify and implement new technology solutions that enhance efficiency.
- Maintain software security, compliance, and performance across all applications.
Data Management & Business Intelligence
- Develop and oversee data governance policies, storage, and security.
- Lead data analytics and reporting initiatives to support business intelligence efforts.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Drive AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making to improve business operations.
IT Strategy, Security & Compliance
- Develop and implement IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry security standards.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and cost-effective technology investments.
- Oversee IT audits, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of IT leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and data governance.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, cloud solutions, networking, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience leading IT teams, managing vendors, and driving technology transformation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and strategic leadership skills.
