The Title III Director is responsible for overall project management, including personnel and budget management, evaluation, and compliance. Working collaboratively with the Title III Steering Committee, the Project Director will facilitate the planning and implementation of all grant-supported activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-campus collaboration with divisions and departments within the University to establish partnerships that lead to the success of the Title III project.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal guidelines, policies, and reporting requirements related to Title III funding.
  • Manage Title III budgets, ensuring proper allocation and utilization of funds in accordance with grant stipulations.
  • Oversee the execution of initiatives supported by Title III funding, including student success programs, faculty development, infrastructure enhancements, and institutional capacity-building projects.
  • Work closely with university leadership, faculty, staff, and external agencies to optimize the impact of Title III initiatives.
  • Monitor program performance, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Identify opportunities for additional funding, prepare grant applications, and develop sustainability plans for initiatives beyond the Title III grant period.


Education

  • Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in grant administration, higher education leadership, or program management.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
