What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Cultivation Technician position at Viridian Staffing?
Viridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary Cultivation Techs to help with on-site cultivation for one or more medical cannabis gardens during a very busy season for a cannabis company located 30 miles SW of the Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, area. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent opportunity.

- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with your hands
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures (there will be some work in a greenhouse)
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time (Shifts usually start at 7 am)
- Horticulture degree or experience in horticulture preferred
- Ability to work for a licensed cannabis operation in the State of Illinois, which includes being at least 21 years of age and receiving authorization from the Illinois State to work for a licensed cannabis operation
