Maintenance Assistant - Cannabis Facility
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a reliable and skilled Temp Maintenance Tech to join our team in the Amesbury, Massachusetts area. In this role, you will assist the Maintenance Manager with routine and emergency tasks, including equipment upkeep and daily visual inspections. You will also have the opportunity to develop knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, irrigation, security, HVAC, and electrical systems.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance and general repair, including working with hand and power tools. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building equipment is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a commitment to compliance and safety are essential. Additionally, basic computer knowledge is required.
The ideal candidate must be eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis Company in the State of Massachusetts, which includes going through a state-required badging process. You must also be able to work on your feet and lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). Safety and caution are paramount in this role. Pay: $19/hour.
