Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring personnel and guest safety, working with security system vendors, monitoring security systems, and conducting regular checks to ensure everything is operating correctly. This includes protecting products and other assets, investigating/documenting any activity not in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and being capable of working with hazardous materials, coordinating safety drills, and overseeing building evacuations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in unarmed self-defense and de-escalation either in law enforcement or security. You should also possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, and changing environment. Additionally, you must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts, which includes going through a state-required badging process.
