Reporting to the VP of IT, the Veeva Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting and optimizing Veeva Vault and Veeva CRM platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Veeva’s suite of applications, technical systems engineering skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes. A strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are a must for this role.
This role is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Veeva Vault and Veeva CRM systems to meet business requirements
- Ensure accurate data integration, migration, and validation across Veeva platforms
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides and user manual
- Ensure systems are compliant with industry regulations and company policies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial, to support business objectives
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement improvements
- Liaise with Veeva support and other vendors for issue resolution and system updates
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Veeva system configurations
- Customize and enhance system functionalities to meet evolving business requirements
- Provide system administration across all Vault platforms
