What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Delivery Driver position at Viridien?
We are seeking to hire a Furniture Delivery Driver to aid with local deliveries and warehouse functions for our Charlotte, NC location. This position will be responsible for completing local deliveries, pulling product, assembly and unwrapping product, and loading/unloading trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders for delivery
- Safeguard inventory and other company assets at all times. Ensure proper security of warehouse and product on the truck.
- Load trucks properly to protect all products from damages.
- Safely drive a box truck and deliver furniture.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle
- Assemble and organize furniture as needed
- Communicates with others appropriately
- Assemble and unwrap product for display at customer’s homes
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of driving a box truck experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift at least 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and accept feedback from management
Work Schedule will be Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
