Job Expectations:
In this role you will work closely with a team of project managers and engineers reporting directly to the Group’s Director in our Consulting Services division. You will perform geotechnical design, report writing, and construction oversight and be responsible for identifying and growing our consulting business. For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity for significant professional growth, the potential to collaborate with local and national teams and the opportunity to build your consulting practice. You will routinely interact or manage relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other stakeholders and will help to ensure that deliverables are on time and within scope and budget. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for the environment, meeting new people, and a desire to learn.
Desired Skills and Experience : Excellent technical writing and communication skills required.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Ability to successfully manage and deliver on multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Strong interest in growing our consulting business, directly working with clients, and developing proposals.
- Ability to help prepare technical reports
- Ability to help prepare basic geotechnical calculations and identify areas where additional expertise is needed and take ownership for filling in knowledge gaps.
- Ability to help prepare drafts of specifications and drawings
- Ideal traits will include being a self-starter, being results and quality-oriented, and having good attention to detail, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm to learn and grow.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Five or more years of relevant work experience
- Strong collaboration with ability to work effectively with colleagues and within Multidisciplinary team.
- Experience on the field and with a multitude of geotechnical design tools and software such slope stability tools and finite element tools. Strong numerical experience preferred.
- Strong track record of attention to detail and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
