PMO Project Manager with S/4 HANA Implementation experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure PMO artifacts and documentation is generated and updated (meeting notes, project decisions, etc.)
• Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables, and resource augmentation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, define project scope, and align project goals with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Business Analysts, Technical, SAP consultants and vendors) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Continuously monitor and track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Establish and enforce PMO governance frameworks for the S/4HANA implementation.
• Develop and maintain project charters, roadmaps, and governance models in alignment with corporate standards.
• Address issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct regular project meetings, providing status updates, identifying challenges, and ensuring proactive issue resolution.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability among team members.
• Manage client relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic business and IT goals.
• Collaborate with Change Management teams to drive adoption, training, and communication strategies.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement in project management practices

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage large, complex SAP projects within a PMO framework.
• Prior experience working as a Project Manager within a PMO function managing large-scale ERP transformations.
• Proven experience in managing at least one large SAP HANA implementation or projects involving verticals HR, Finance, Budget, Procurement etc.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, database systems, integrations, data conversion and cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of SAP HANA and Ariba modules, including integration with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other enterprise applications.
• Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong Stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

• SAP HANA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks is a bonus.
• Ability to manage relationships with clients and vendors effectively.
• Familiarity with business transformation initiatives.
