Position Description and Expectations:
The Studio Producer is a newly established leadership position within our company, responsible for overseeing and managing the entire studio department and its staff. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of all broadcast productions, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Studio Producer will recruit, train, and lead a talented team of operators while developing and implementing training programs, certification audits, and operational protocols. They will act as the primary production liaison between clients, stakeholders, and production teams, ensuring alignment on creative and technical goals. Additionally, the Studio Producer will manage the integration of graphics, data, and technical workflows, oversee compliance and reporting, and drive innovation in broadcast and production processes. This role is designed for a proactive leader who excels in team management, creative problem-solving, and delivering exceptional results in a dynamic production environment.

Immediate responsibilities include:

Operator Management
·       Recruit, Hire, Onboard and Train all production operators
·       Establish/Revise qualifications for operator positions
·       Maintain continued expansion of operator bench
·       Assign game day operators to teams based on skill
·       Establish and maintain communication between site POC and operators
·       Generate and maintain operators' schedules including, but not limited to: TD, Replay Ops, Site Support Engineers, Virtch Camera Ops, CG Ops, Manual Bug Ops
·       Monitor nightly operator performance of broadcast operations for quality control
·       Create and maintain FAQ and operations guides for studio staff
·       Update/define operator responsibilities and outline job description
·       Approve operator hours and maintain up-to-date operator records with HR
·       Establish/maintain backup operator contingency protocols and deployment plans for manual scorebug deployment or operator call-ins

Broadcast Graphics
·       Provide creative control of all graphics displayed on all broadcasts by managing and providing feedback on all incoming graphic submissions from team
·       Review and approve all new broadcast graphics with creative team
·       Organize graphics into production workflow for show use and archive old content
·       Develop and test new elements or show segments on an ongoing basis to further develop the entertainment value of all shows

Client Communication
·       Conduct one mid-season executive operator check-in meeting with team for one hour and update agenda to accommodate client
·       Maintain/Establish communication with on-site team POC
·       Maintain/Establish communication with League/OTT and act as the main liaison regarding all production communication
·       Train and onboard client on data sheet input procedure
·       Communicate broadcast graphics standards to client
·       Train and onboard client on broadcast rundown procedure

Rundowns and Reports 
·       Create broadcast rundown open script and draft rundowns for each team
·       Identify data and statistical requirements for broadcast data sheet, generate open script for all shows and maintain upkeep
·       Create Data sheet usage workflow and ensure ongoing client compliance
·       Develop post-production report template, key metrics reporting process, archival and maintenance procedure
·       Create show setup checklist for all shows

Show Setup and Studio Management
·       Setup data connections for manual scorebug deployment
·       Manage Virtch Unity Coms login access and procedures
·       Create up to 10 logins and 2 channels per team
·       Onboard client into unity coms procedures
·       Create a backup communication plan other than unity coms for all shows
·       Ingest incoming graphics and create client packages in gfx engine 
·       Create and maintain archive system for out-of-date graphics
·       Organize certified graphics for broadcast use and integrate into show workflow/rundown
·       Ingest data sheet into engine and test data connections
·       Ensure show setup checklist is complete by operators prior to start of all shows
·       Maintain ongoing communication and documentation with Service and Support department
·       Conduct daily all-operator pre-production meetings prior to all shows

Certifications and Training
·       Conduct monthly certification audits to ensure all show crew remains certified
·       Evaluate, update and improve training programs on an ongoing basis
·       Keep accurate reporting and documentation of client compliance for all certifications
·       Create, review and improve training seminar programs on an ongoing basis
·       Outline course modules
·       Generate FAQs
·       Share pre-training resources and FAQ guides with team
·       Grow training schedules and content
·       Send welcome emails with schedules and links to training
·       Research and develop approved coms equipment standards and include inUnity Coms and Procedure Guide

Applicant Experience
Broadcast Production: Proven experience in live or studio production, including managing broadcast workflows, quality control, and technical operations.
Team Management: Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Graphics and Data Integration: Familiarity with broadcast graphics systems, data workflows, and software tools used in production.
 Project Management: Experience managing complex projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with deadlines and objectives.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of production equipment, broadcast systems, and software platforms (e.g., Tricaster, advanced graphics engines).
Training and Development: Background in creating and delivering training programs or certification processes.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: History of working directly with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
Reporting and Analysis: Experience creating performance reports and analyzing metrics to improve workflows and team performance.
