Job Summary :
This role supports organizational change by defining needs, recommending solutions, and assisting with project management activities for various initiatives.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee project elements such as the business case, eliciting requirements, requirements analysis, communication, testing, and training.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic and support plans.
Help with request for proposal (RFP) activities, including delivering functional requirements, vendor scorecards, criteria and scoring results, and demo scenarios and scoring results.
Facilitate the collection and delivery of requirements, business / use cases, documentation, test plans, cases, scripts, and manage and obtain approval for these items.
Support the execution of process improvement initiatives by creating process flow charts, value stream mapping, and related documentation.
Aid in the creation and use of measurement activities required to report on project effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and other success metrics.
Assist with project documentation management tailored to the needs of each project.
Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members to enhance the quality of project and program delivery.
Support the education and promotion of related methodologies and processes to stakeholders across the institute.
Engage in ongoing learning and training related to business analysis, project management, and stakeholder activities.
Skills :
Intermediate knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) guidelines.
Fundamental knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines.
Fundamental knowledge of change management principles.
Fundamental knowledge of healthcare / research operations and systems.
Fundamental knowledge of risk management principles.
Advanced proficiency in business analysis techniques and principles.
Advanced proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office), including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and influence others to accomplish tasks outside of the direct span of control.
Education and Experience :
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree.
Required Experience :
Three (3) years of business analysis experience.
Preferred Education :
Advanced degree in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Preferred Experience :
Five (5) years of business analysis experience overseeing medium-to-large complex projects with increasing responsibilities.
One (1) year of project management experience in small-to-medium initiatives.
Previous experience in a healthcare, research, or academic-related environment.
