Position: AP Manager
Location: Pulaski, TN
Schedule: M-F 8-5pm Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite
Salary: $80-90K
Summary/Objective
Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process within the organization, including managing staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and contra payables processing, maintaining financial records, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with vendors to optimize cash flow, all while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process within the organization, including managing staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and contra payables processing, maintaining financial records, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with vendors to optimize cash flow, all while adhering to company policies and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Ensure timely processing within areas payable vendor payables and chargeback
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal customers
- Prepare and analyze area reports
- Administer internal controls
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal control requirements
- Supervise and provide guidance to staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Manage the AP subledger and ensure accuracy of data
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
- Handle escalated inquiries from vendors and internal staff
- Train and mentor personnel
- Bachelor’s degree, with (10) years or more related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases, Oracle EBS and Blackline a plus.
- Oracle EBS knowledge a plus.
- Experience in a public company and SOX compliant organization a plus.
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred but not required.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
