Investment & Operations Associate for a Real Estate Investment Firm in the US (Home Based Part Time)

The Company is a Boston-based, privately held real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition, operation, and repositioning of workforce and affordable multifamily housing in select New England markets.

Job Description

Underwriting & Deal Analysis

• Source and analyze potential real estate investment opportunities, building detailed financial models to inform deal strategy CRM Management
• Manage and update the firm’s CRM system, maintaining relationships with brokers, investors, and industry contacts to generate deal flow.
  
  

Market Research

• Conduct thorough market research to identify new investment areas and track trends in the real estate landscape
  
  

Operational Support

• Oversee daily operational tasks, ensuring the firm’s processes run efficiently, including managing the Founder’s email inbox and calendar
  
  

Administrative Assistance

• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and assisting with other business operations
  
  

Social Media Management

• Manage and expand the company’s social media presence, creating engaging content and fostering a larger audience
  
  

Capital Raising Support

• Create offering memorandums for capital raises and develop market update materials to communicate with investors.
  
  

Task Integration

• Integrate innovative technologies and methodologies into both analytical and operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Must Haves

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, STEM, Economics, or a related field. Experience
• 1-3-years of experience in real estate investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields. ■ Will consider entry level candidates if they have taken courses in real estate and have a baseline understanding of real estate financial modeling.
• Familiarity with evaluating real estate investments, strongly preferred, even if done as part of college curriculum. Technical Proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis is required.
• Familiarity with different CRMs such as GoHighLevel, Hubspot, etc. is a plus. Communication Skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English required.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Organizational Skills
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
