Primary Responsibilities:
• New Product Prospecting: Research and identify promising products for the business by scanning UPCs from various vendor catalogs.
• Product Evaluation: Analyze prospective products based on Amazon-related metrics like profit margins, sales rank, sellability, and other data to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Opportunity Identification: Proactively recommend new product opportunities to expand the product catalog and boost revenue.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Product Reordering: Manage the reordering process through vendor portals to ensure timely inventory restocking.
• Reporting: Generate weekly sales reports, build sales projections, and develop profit and loss (P&L) reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Data Management: Perform data entry tasks such as creating purchase orders (POs), maintaining the SKU catalog, updating repricer tools, and closing POs.
• Vendor Communication: Liaise with vendors to request inventory updates, track backordered SKUs, and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
