Team 360 Staffing is in search of a Shipping Associate in Matthews, NC. Pay rate: 21/hr.
Position: Shipping Associate!
We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual for a Shipping Associate position. The associate will be responsible for all shipping tasks within the warehouse. On a daily basis, this candidate will work in a team environment for all daily shipments from within the plant. Communication is key as this person will be interfacing and interacting with carriers as well as office employees.
Key Responsibilities:
· Pull appropriate material to fill customer requirements
· Package material for customers in a manner that ensures material will be protected from damage in shipment
· Utilize appropriate software packages to process both internal and external customers’ orders
· Ensure all packages are properly labeled and necessary documentation has been generated
· Identify, document, correct, and/or notify personnel of any discrepancies detected during the shipping process
· Cross train in other areas (Production parts pulling, Receiving)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook)
- 3 years of experience in a shipping/receiving role within a manufacturing setting
- Understanding of warehouse logistics/environment
- Experience interfacing and coordinating with carriers
- RF experience
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and manipulate up to 100 pounds
- Overtime on short notice
- Forklift experience a plus
