Hematology Department Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Hematology Supervisor to lead our Hematology department, driving operational excellence, and delivering high-quality results. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, developing policies, and implementing quality assurance measures. Your expertise in laboratory analysis and testing will enable you to diagnose pet and animal illnesses, collaborating with veterinarians to develop effective treatment strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supervise and guide staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Design and implement operating policies and procedures, ensuring seamless laboratory operations.
• Utilize your knowledge of laboratory analysis and testing to diagnose pet and animal illnesses, working closely with veterinarians.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and present data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a science-related field.
• Proven experience as a diagnostic lab supervisor, including hiring and performance management.
• Exceptional leadership, motivational, and mediating abilities, with a focus on employee development and engagement.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and direct work activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles and excellent laboratory skills.
